The poor driver had to reverse a very long way before the elephant was happy and left him alone. The next day we had a huge bull elephant that took exception to the vehicle behind us and warned it off. Wasn't long before the male decided to join her to see what the fuss was all about! Made for some excellent photos. We came across a mating pair of lions that we sat and watched for about 20 minutes before the female became as curious about us and came right up to our vehicle to check us out as well. In Kenya the leopard was the only animal we had not seen and pretty much everything else was pretty up close and personal. We had an amazing time and were impressed with how accommodating the animals were for us. Thanks for all your help and great Service. I have already recommended your company to a few friends, and my sister who is going to travel to Africa sometime in Aug 2015. The BlueBay Beach Resort was superb and I enjoyed my stay very much. The breakfast was ok but the view from the breakfast balcony was spectacular. Particularly the street around the hotel was noisy and a bit dirty. I saw the Big 5 and according to Jamid we also saw the Big 9.
I am very pleased with the Safari tour I chose. The wildlife viewing experience was also amazing. He was happy to go the extra mile when people had requests. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all the questions we asked. In regards to the Safari and our Tour Guide - I have to say Jamid our tour Guide was great. Serengeti Sopa Lodge - the room was good but I had a problem with the sink and shower but not a major problem. The mozi net was not good, it was torn on the top and I was sharing my room with a funny lizard all night. Lake Manyara Serena Lodge - I was unhappy with my room. The accommodation, the food and the service were superb. There are a few comments about the lodges that I am going to highlight below. I consider myself to be the luckiest person to witness the great migration of animals, particularly the wildebeests. Everything went well and I really enjoyed my tour. I had a great time both on safari and in Zanzibar.
